 The ERC20 standard, issued on the basis of Ethereum blockbuster, will become a crypto currency with a fixed money supply stable against inflation. The Ethereum block is the most technologically advanced platform for developing smart contracts. The token can be divided into fractions, is interchangeable and portable to the off-chain network.

History of the project

It began as an idea in 2014. In fact, from this year on, founder Nikita Akimov began his work on the prototype of the application, collect the team and select the best scheme for interaction with the target audience.

In 2015, the first working version of the Eristica application appeared in Google Play and iTunes.

In August 2016, the project took part in a startup competition held by the venture capital fund Winter Capital and the consulting firm McKinsey & Company. Together with two more projects, Eristica team divided the first place of the competition, winning a prize of $ 75 thousand. For the project, this was the first major recognition.

Also in 2016, the number of users of the project broke through the mark of 500 thousand people.

In early 2017, the Eristica team decided to focus on the countries of Southeast Asia and India. This region is known for its huge growth rates, as well as the growing demand for quality local content. For this reason, the project team accepted the offer to participate in the program of the start-accelerator Mobile Only Accelerator (MOX), managed by the SOSV fund.

 For the project, this market has become both an opportunity for growth and a technological challenge. The application was modified taking into account local conditions: low coverage by low-speed mobile Internet.

  • The size of the application was reduced to 7 mb.
  • The consumption of phone memory RAM was reduced.
  • Optimization was carried out for work in the zone with 2G internet.
Successfully completing the incubator program, the project agreed with major electronics manufacturers about the preinstallation of the Eristica application for new smartphones sold in India, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, and also in Russia.

Finally, in the middle of the year the project team successfully passed the program in SOSV, which is the world's largest venture capital fund, ranking first in the "Early Stage Investments" rating, ahead of YCombinator and 500 Startups.
